Our project had a clear mission: to make it easier for health insurance members to find healthcare providers and services when they needed them most, while also reducing the stress often associated with health insurance interactions.

For several months, we worked on improving the provider search process on the UnitedHealthcare website. The existing system was confusing and overwhelming, with too many steps that left users frustrated and uncertain.

This initiative recognized the significant impact simplifying this process could have on users during challenging times. My role as a design researcher was to help inform our business strategy while ensuring that our new designs truly met user needs, making the experience not just better but delightful for them.
